On the first episode of the revamped Melly’s Couch we sit down with Myah Storm to discuss her career to this point and what she has in store for the future. She is open about the ups and downs she has faced in her career and how she has overcome it. Her latest project Lyrically Blessed Volume 1 was a smash hit and Melly finds there are many different versions of the album.

Myah also discusses her performances so far and what it is like to be recognized by fans and others. She compares working with a team to leaving the industry and coming back and being her own manager. Luckily, she now has a team she is happy with. No on writes for Storm but she is open to working with others and has several features. Most have worked out but not everything does in this industry.

Family has played a significant role in Myah’s journey from naming her after a famous poet to forcing her to read the dictionary to increase her vocabulary. She has also gotten support from several different platforms in Chicago, Joliet and Miami. Myah has already accomplished so much and has a new joint project dropping in a few days with TQ titled ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ which is sure to be another hit. (I would know, I already heard it.)

We follow up on the response to the fake beef that occurred. Which leads to talking about Midnite Club and how this event helped raised her star power. Miami is still coming up in Mellsville and Storm’s trip to Miami was eventful. Find out who’s in the 2024 group chat and how to get in it. You also have to follow #MyahMusicMondays if you’re in to what Myah is into. Myah leaves us with some advice for women in the industry.
