This week we have a duo who does their own thing but works together a lot. We have the artists Rey Ray & JayRocDaDon. While they haven’t been in the industry for long they’ve been making waves on the scene. They’ve had back to back performances whether alone or together. One stand out was the Coast to Coast competition where they made it to round two. During his performance Rey Ray decided last minute to bring his daughter on stage.
Family is important and Rey Ray discusses how he used to work on music with his brother before his passing. His brother is also a major influence on his music now. When discussing performances Rey Ray takes every up and down as a learning experience.
They have done a few music videos independently and have a crazy story about one of their videos. Let’s just say someone stole the footage and they had to make due. In the future they’ll be working with professional videographers for better quality content. Their next music video should be dropping January 9, 2025. We also get into the infamous bunny mask.
We breakdown all of the projects that Rey Ray has out right now starting with 1999. This album should be taken down but it wasn’t so we had to talk about it. We also discuss starting from making music on an Ipad to now working with 1002 Studios. When talking about his latest albums one is the Zero version which is a sort of dedication for Rey Ray’s brother. Since there were two takes the freestyles may not be what you expected.
