Starlight on Melly’s Couch (#Thankyouforlistening)

This week we do something a little different and film a live interview at Urban Luxe Cafe during Thank Your For Listening Part 3. Today we have with us Starlight who wears many hats and we delve into as many as we can. As always we start from the beginning with Spark UIC being her first hosting gig. While it was her first it was also one of the biggest gigs she’s had to do. She ran into 21 Savage and then G Herbo invited her out to party.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and was part of the Black Student Union. She then started Starlight PNG where she showcases her photography work. She was also involved with the non-profit organization ‘Coffee, Hip Hop and Mental Health’ which helps provide mental health services to the community through coffee. She also shares her struggles with mental health and how she was able to get through it.

As an Open Mic host, Starlight partners with Too Good Open MIcs and Urban Luxe Cafe. Instead of a freestyle, Starlight leaves us with a spoke word that had the entire venue locked in. You can follow her:
