This week we have the artist: D’So Nyce. Starting at the beginning we talk about his cousin being the only one in music. The Smooth Operator started rapping at 8 years old, not seriously of course but it was the beginning. He also tells us a story about seeing Drake and being inspired to get into music and taking it more seriously. He first recorded over the “Fireman’ beat by Lil Wayne. We also discuss musical influences especially those stemming from Houston.

Little known fact is that D’So Nyce started in a group before going solo. Per usual we spend a segment breaking down music. We start with his first few commercial songs and then discuss the Soundcloud days. Moving on we talk about Spotify music including big projects like The Ruby Tape and The Sapphire Tape. This leads to conversations about family support and childhood dreams. We also discuss the Waiting to Inhale and Uncut Gems tapes.

During the Miscellaneous segment we talk about other music videos, Purple Box, Live from the Living Room, creating Neo-Rap and so much more.
