Bio (provided by artist) – JuztKP is more than just your average rapper. A magician with words. Graduate of NC A&T State University with a degree in Public Relations. Modern activist and entrepreneur.
Est. in 1991 out of Durham, NC, KP built a foundation of vibes through choir, dance, battle rap forums, instruments, theater and just listening to his inspirations. Began Secretly producing raps in a 2 room apartment at 13. Started recording tracks at 16 and slowly snuck his way to the underground.
Song Review:
On a sample from an old Usher song JustKP brings us an ode to his girl (or more so a girl). I am personally not a fan of samples but I will still give my unbiased opinion on the song. I love the words to this song. He tells this girl how he feels about her in a unique hip hop way. He also tells her what he needs in a girl and how much he appreciates the way she treats him. With Valentine’s Day coming up this might be the song you need to dedicate to your girl and put a cherry on top of the night. I would have to say that the line I can’t get out of my head is “every step we take together is a milestone.”
This is a new artist in Mellsville and I hope to continue to be able to feature his music.
