This week we have a new song from Philadelphia based artist Chase Moola with his new single “OPPS”. It is descibed as a UK drill infused sound which is apparently the latest trend in Philly. This track comes off of his upcoming 5 track Ep titled “STAMPED”. Stamped is set to release soon.
Thoughts on the Song
The lyricism and delivery are on point. So is the cadence. I’m not fond of the beat, I just wish it was a little faster. The length of the song is great as well. The subject matter is relatable as we all have some experience with opps. I’m not too familiar with UK drill so I wish had more input and analysis to contribute so for now all I can do is tell you to check it out while I get into this genre.
