Bamis No Service EP

Today we head on over to Montreal, Canada for Rapper, Producer and Singer Bamis. He finds his musical inspiration from artists such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West, to “prodige” Travis Scott and Canadian sensation Tory Lanez . Bamis is backed by “WeWill Productions, a label focused on shining the light on English and French Rap and R-n-B. They are quickly establishing themselves as the go to label for versatile Canadian artists.

No Service EP

Bamis has spent much of this quarantine working on this project. He plans to follow it up with a series. Due to the current situation tour dates are yet to be released.

  1. Issa Vibe: Bamis brings the vibes right off the bat with this song. He incorporate singing and rapping. He also delivers the lyrics using a variety of styles for a truly innovative sound. The production value is 100% and I can tell Bamis and his team truly care about the sound. Lyrically he has catchy lines throughout including “No service on my phone, poltergeist.” He had me dancing in my seat.
  2. Crosby: Now we move on to Crosby, which starts a little slower like the song is creeping up on you. Then the beat drops. The song talks about money but not in the generic rap way.
  3. Hold it Down: This is a more rhythmic song. From the title I thought it would be a typical love song but I was wrong. He just wants everyone to hold it down if you really want to get it. He doesn’t want to fall victim to the game and instead wants to see his mama in the tropics. The topics do sound nice.
