Returning to Mellsville we have Bamis with his newest ep, aptly titled Ashes. The description provided by Bamis is so creative and eye catching we’ve choosen to include it verbatim. “”ASHES,” a sonic journey that transcends boundaries. This EP encapsulates emotions, experiences, and the essence of rebirth. Each track is a chapter, narrating tales of resilience and transformation. From the smoldering embers rises a phoenix, and so does this collection of songs symbolize my artistic evolution.”

Thoughts on Ashes

Let’s see what Bamis brings us with his latest EP.

  1. Conceited: I really like Bamis flow here. It’s on point and I love how he leans in to being conceited and needing his money. Great way to start the EP.
  2. Bankrolls: Still keeping it smooth on this track Bamis continue to lure us into his world. He calls out a specific girl here. She dangerous and toxic but he still drives in that pussy.
  3. BMS: This is a peak into his life and the struggles he had to face to get to where he is now. He did it all himself, as many of us have had to.
  4. Expensive: Continuing his story of his come up. He won’t stop until his wrists get expensive.
  5. A Bag a day: I am in love with how the beat starts on this track. I feel like I am being transported to another world. Bamis isn’t dropping the bag for nothing. He isn’t stopping until he reaches Forbes. He is so smooth with his delivery here as well.
  6. Freeze Time: Bamis switches up and does so flawlessly. The breathing rap is difficult but he manages so well. He had me singing “I bust it down, I freeze time.”
  7. Vroom: I was rocking to this song the entire time. I wanted to grab my keys and go race at some point.
  8. Really Him: Bamis can deliver different cadences and styles. He goes a little harder and gritty to close us out. He shows us that he’s really him. And I believe him.

What can I say? Bamis brings us another explosive EP. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into it. There is high production value throughout as well. He must get bigger because his passion and talent shine through. You can listen to Ashes on your favorite streaming services by using this link.
